Remembering Dr. Brian Lane
Colleague, Mentor, Friend
Dr. Brian Lane
Brian was an exceptional surgeon and scientist, a cherished colleague and friend, and, most of all, a loving father, husband, and son. He was active in MUSIC from its beginning, serving as Clinical Champion for Corewell West, founding Director of MUSIC KIDNEY, and Strategic Advisor for the Prostate and BPH programs. He was a passionate advocate for his and all patients, and impacted countless lives through his practice and research. He will be deeply missed by all of us. Dr. Lane will be honored at the MUSIC collaborative wide meeting, with a memorial lecture named after him. This year, our invited keynote speaker Dr Brian Eisner, gave the first memorial lecture in October, which was very meaningful as they had both studied at University of Michigan medical school together.
