Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) Reporting

A new mechanism for the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) beginning in 2014

As a PQRS Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR), MUSIC can complete the collection and submission of PQRS quality measures data on behalf of its Eligible Professionals (EPs). EPs who satisfactorily participate in PQRS through a QCDR can avoid the payment adjustment for the year of interest (e.g. for 2015 reporting, avoid the adjustment in 2017). Eligible Professionals (EPs) that participate in MUSIC can elect to have MUSIC as a QCDR report to PQRS on their behalf. If an EP elects to have MUSIC report on their behalf, MUSIC as a QCDR will report to PQRS on at least 9 measures across 3 domains for that provider based on the data in the MUSIC registry.
